Five-day programme · dates to be announcedRuhango District, Southern Province

Our flagship community workshop brings together 100+ farmers, women, youth, and local officials for five days of hands-on training in agroforestry, participatory degradation mapping, rooftop rainwater harvesting, and energy-saving stoves.

Programme highlights

  • Day 1–2 — Agroforestry training, seedling distribution, and community planting events
  • Day 2–3 — Participatory mapping of degradation hotspots with GIS tools and local knowledge
  • Day 3–4 — Assessing and sustaining existing environmental infrastructure with partners
  • Day 4–5 — Rainwater harvesting and energy-saving stove demonstrations with women's groups
